It is with immense love—and a heavy heart—that we offer the ViBE 99.7FM stunningly restored 1991 Volkswagen T2 Vanagon Weekender for sale. She isn’t just a van; she’s a legacy, one of the last to roll off the production line before the North American VW factory closed in 1991. Crafted during the final days of production, she boasts an exceptionally rare combination of factory-fitted upgrades, a testament to VW’s efforts to make something truly special with their remaining inventory.

 

We first discovered her on a small farm in Northern California where she had been used as a daily transporter to move feed and materials around for the farm owner . Over the past seven years, We have poured our hearts, souls, and hundreds if not thousands of hours of restoration work, transforming her into the breathtaking showstopper she is today. She’s  a 3 time in class VW show winner that turns heads, and stops crowds with a passion.

 

She loves the open road and drives like a dream, thanks to a new modern day regeared transaxle and custom coil-over suspension. Every mile feels like freedom, every curve a delight. She’s the perfect marriage of classic VW spirit and modern comfort, equipped with conveniences like power steering, power brakes, and ice-cold air conditioning to make every journey effortless.

 

As lifelong VW enthusiasts, we have restored many vans & buses—but none have captured our hearts like she has. She’s been the stations pride and joy, an absolute celebrity at trade shows, live remotes & festivals across the country drawing crowds and promoting  some of the world’s most iconic brands.

 

We are sadly parting ways because the station needs a bigger rig that we can be comfortable in on the road for longer durations. We are not in a rush to sell as we search for a new family who will cherish her and love her as much as we do and will take care of her for years to come.
